SuperPob 2008-06-22 17:21	Not particurlarly that easy Mak. If Spain lose tonight then thats the end of Cefca, Mickandgailp and Christoski. Only me and ArcticFox can get 100% finalists and if I was a betting man I'd say he will win it as he seems to be quite good at getting things free. A lot of members do have Germany left though, just not many have them to win the final. However, who would've thought Turkey and Russia would be in the finals? I'll see if I can work it out for different permatations.

Obviously turkey and russia helped me out though, bwahahaha. Hopefully for me, italy win tonight and then no more upsets for the rest of the tourney.

SuperPob 2008-06-22 17:51	This is all based on a Germany vs Italy or Germany vs Spain final as using Turkey and Russia wont change the table much. Right, I've worked out the different results and everybodies selections. If Spain lose tonight we will infact lose 7 people including the leader! If Italy lose tonight we lose 2 people. I predict that if it's a Germany vs Italy final with Germany winning then the top 3 will be ArcticFox, SuperPob and JohnPannell, if Italy were to win I predict ArcticFox, Blades, SuperPob. However, if it's a Germany vs Spain final and Germany win I predict Grabrail and ArcticFox to be equal and Joeemslie but if Spain win it Grabrail, ArcticFox and Joe again. Either way, it seems ArcticFox has won something as long as there are no more upsets. Everything seems to hinge on tonight for me so I'm off to bet on Spain to cover myself lol. Apologies if I have made any errors in my calculations, I did do them quite quickly.

bladesmenfromthelane 2008-06-26 23:47	Nah, i already said before things took off properly that we will only look at positions and not GD We couldn't be sure if GD was included in these tables- there is no indication of it anyway! That's why i said we would have to do something that would be certain! There were no arguments and no other suggestions so that is what i have gone along with :) So it's best not to work the GD out to save dissapoinment :) Cheers

arcticfox20 2008-06-28 14:48	I was thinking....if it comes to a tie break (which I doubt), instead of picking 1 number each, would it not make sense to pick a block of number each i.e i.e. the first half of the numbers or the second half? i know theres 49 numbers but grabrail can have the extra number. Sooooo, he picks either 1-25 or he picks 25-49. At least this way theres no chance of the number being half way between us and have to do it all again, there has to be a winner. Its your rules though :-)

grabrail 2008-06-28 15:03	Sounds fair to me, although I would have an extra number, so the odds would be in my favour We could do a penalties style thing Pick 6 numbers No. closest to the first ball drawn scores one penalty. and so on with each number picked in the order you picked em. Winner is the one with the most penalties :)
